EDGE Camp is a one-week summer day camp designed to give rising 4th -6th graders hands-on learning about ministry in the Austin community, while providing the spiritual connection and lots of fun!

EDGE Camp 2014 in Review
This year our camp was structured around teaching the children about poverty: how it effects people in our community, and what our community does to help others. Four of the five days had a component of active learning and service around Austin, and there were fun activities on campus and around Austin as well.

EDGE Camp 2014 in Review

Monday
Monday was an introduction to poverty by Austin agencies, and through a hands-on poverty simulation on campus and downtown. Tuesday
Tuesday we served at the Capital Area Food Bank, then returned to campus for fun activities! Wednesday
Wednesday, the Dell Children's bus came to us, then we went rollerskating! |
Thursday
Thursday was our big field trip to Natural Bridge Caverns! We explored the caverns and mine for gems or tackle the Canopy ropes course! Friday
Friday morning we worked in the El Buen community garden, then went to Deep Eddy for lunch, swimming, and Jim Jim's water ice! |
